There is an exciting opportunity to participate in a workshop with renowned Artistic Director, Dominic Ellis-Peckham, and perform in the concert on Saturday 11 October 2025. More details in this leaflet, or from Lynda George at musicenquiries@ipswich.school
Dominic Ellis-Peckham: conductor and chorus master, specialising in opera and choral repertoire. He has been praised for his dedication to music of the Renaissance and Baroque, whilst also passionately championing new works and delivering inspirational collaborations. In addition to his work with Suffolk Chamber Choir he heads the London Oriana Choir, the Chamber Choir of London, is Chorus Master for Opera Holland Park and Chorus Director and Visiting Artist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
We both really enjoyed the programme and especially the way the conductor introduced all the modern pieces. The way you used the acoustic and moved to different areas [of the church] was great. The blend of voices was tremendous. I was particularly impressed with your starts and how you managed to get your notes! The chance you are giving to young composers to get their work performed is wonderful.
If you have exceptional musicianship, good vocal range and an ability to sightread music, why not audition to join. For more information, email us: Suffolk Chamber Choir, or go to our Facebook or Instagram pages.

I thoroughly enjoyed the choir's spellbinding performance at St Michael's Church in Framlingham last Saturday and hope to see you perform again soon. Please add me to your mailing list.
"...the BEST Suffolk choir that we have seen..."
"Every piece was presented so confidently and professionally"
"The dynamics and finesse really made it"
From the first bar it was obvious to me that this was going to be a very interesting concert, even though I didn’t know any of the pieces. Dominic is an excellent MD and kept the audience well informed before each piece. He was also very engaging with the choir and you all responded extremely well with excellent dynamics and phrasing.
